EXTINGUISHER REFILL AND TESTING SERVICE

Our company offers its customers an effective after-sales service, which includes the refilling and testing of all types of cylinders used in fire-containment and extinguishing systems for the storage of extinguishing agents such as inert gases IG55, IG541, IG01, IG100, Halocarbons HFC-125, HFC-227ea, FK-5-1-12 and carbon dioxide (CO₂). This specific service may be necessary following the discharge of the system or – more commonly – for the periodic re-testing of the cylinders which must be carried out every 10 years per current regulations. This procedure includes the reclamation of the extinguishing agent from the cylinders, the disassembly and reassembly of the valve, the hydrostatic pressure test of the casing, the weighing and internal/external visual inspection, the punching of the cylinders by a certified body, the refilling and certification of the recharge, along with returning the goods to the client and the restarting of the system.

During the testing phase, the various processes (which may take up to a few weeks), our company is able to guarantee the normal operation of the system being overhauled by replacing the cylinders taken with others for hire and, in specific cases, by devising suitable provisional solutions based on the individual needs of the client. Furthermore, should it be necessary to replace the cylinder discharge valves with a new similar model, Esseci S.r.l. is able to supply a new hydraulic calculation to recertify the system.

This involves the maintenance of all systems and relative equipment, in the times and methods established by the standards of reference and in accordance with the following procedures:
